Welcome

Tendonitis refers to the inflammation or irritation of tendons that can occur in many areas of the body. Tendons are thick fibrous cords of tissue that attach muscles to bone.

The pain you experience with Tendonitis is generally due to inflammation or small tears in the tendon connecting the muscles to the bone.

If left untreated the continued inflammation and swelling of the tendon will scar and shrink the sheaths. This can lead to more irritation of the tendon and hence more pain and inflammation. It's a vicious cycle.
